Queen enjoys a coffee at Bar Stop

The Press Secretary hid the Daily Mail just in time, before the Queen entered. It was full of 'The Queen' the new film by Stephen Frears just released. No point in her seeing that- full of scurrilous, invented conversations! Imagine PC calling her 'Cabbage' affectionately! He did like the bit though about the Queen's mother calling Mr. Blair the Cheshire Cat ! If she saw the news about the film, she would lose all hope of ever getting back her kingdom and fall into a depressive state.
He knew she would ask about news about Middle ex-England so he had a few other things lined up.
"What's breaking news?" she asked promptly on cue.
"Oh, nothing much - you can see photos of David Cameron on holiday with his new waxed upper body. You remember all the fuss about David Beckham's hairless chest and all the talk about how far down he went....sorry.....erm... "
"Wimp Davids" snapped PC
"Lots of coverage on the 'Royals who Stayed', Charles's mobile voice mails being tapped" said the Press Secretary stifling a yawn.
The Queen barely heard the last remark. She looked bored.Suddenly she brightened.
"Why don't we go to 'Bar Stop' in Gubbio again and have a nice coffee?"
"Good idea- now you do remember how to order your favourite cappuccino"the Press Secretary teased
"Of course -' cappuccino bollente con poco schiuma'" she laughed. "I didn't win the Coffee Game
yesterday for nothing!"
"No -pocA schiuma"the Press Secretary corrected her gently.
"Oh... these Italian endings will be the death of me".
"Caffe' lungo, macchiato freddo" chimed in PC.
The Press Secretary nodded in approval and laughingly said
"Certainly, when it comes to food and drink, people learn languages very fast!"
They piled into his Mercedes SLK and headed for Bar Stop.
